The majority of our patients are referred for an assessment:

Immediately after a car accident, work place injury or event when they present:
• Evidence of anxiety while driving
• Acute stress reactions or early signs of chronic post traumatic stress
• Mechanical low back pain
• Closed head injuries
• Whiplash

Six weeks after the car accident, work place injury or other accident or event when:
• The patient continues to experience significant pain;
• There are indicators of other psychological factors including depression, anxiety or
   family issues;
• The patient is not improving;
• Increasing use of pain medication;
• Work or activities of daily living are compromised.

Twelve weeks or more after the car accident, work place injury or other accident or event when: The patient is having difficulty returning to work or increasing activities of daily living.
